Incubation
We like good ideas that make a difference. We come alongside emerging nonprofits to provide direction, oversight, and implementation. In the early stages of development, ideas rarely have the tools needed to begin accepting donations or operating as a nonprofit. It can take months or even years to achieve nonprofit status, and even longer to be seen as legitimate. Our incubation service fast-tracks nonprofits, allowing them to begin operating as a tax-deductible 501c3.
Consultation
The best ideas can fail. That’s where we come in. Our partner for-profit, Good News Communications, provides full-service marketing and consultation services (discounted) so that good ideas have everything they need to thrive and effect change in our community.
Investment
Oooooooh the magic words. What we are not: a foundation or a charity with ongoing grants programs. What we are: an investor in ideas that make a difference. We look to partner with small, emerging nonprofits. Though we don’t take over leadership, it’s helpful to think of us like an investor (ie: this is not for everyone).
How do we choose nonprofits to work with?
Great question! We are currently incubating a few projects so are not considering anything at the moment. That said, we love hearing about new ideas!
